In 2006 it struck me just how many images of partial architectural artifacts were in my archives—a piece of a building, a fragment of a dome, half of an arch. I started to mirror, rotate and otherwise juxtapose these building blocks and started to come up with some interesting results. The image here, for instance, is the underside of a bridge in Dresden, copied/rotated four times around a center axis. It's featured on the front cover of rearchitecture, which I published on blurb.com. Check it out here. Enjoy!
