We're all cameras, and a great many of us are photographers—of those a smaller, but nevertheless large, subset is compelled by results, process, subject matter or deeper personal motivations to focus an inordinate piece of themselves on their worlds or the world around them. Photography becomes a calling, a search for beauty or ugliness, meaning or confusion, truth or story.
Mark Reichert has enjoyed the art, craft and contemplation of—but most of all exploration and playing with—photography since young adulthood, be it out in the world, in the chemical darkroom, the digital lightroom, in a gallery, in print. Some of his images—the result of any number of camera formats, lenses and processes—are shared here on photomaru for your enjoyment; select images are available for purchase.
